We've taken the hot dog and doubled down on the bacony goodness! Wrap your dawg in bacon and crushed Southern Recipe Pork Rinds to add a crunch that's grill worthy.
Ingredients
- Bacon Wrapped Crunch Dogs with Pork Rind Topping:
• 4 cups Southern Recipe Pork Rinds, crushed
• 12 Hot dogs
• 12 Buns
• 12 Bacon strips
• 1 cup Parmesan cheese
• 1/2 cup Dijon mustard
Preparation
1. Wrap each hot dog with one strip of raw bacon and secure with toothpicks.
2. Grill, covered, over low heat for 8–10 minutes or until bacon is crisp, turning frequently.
3. In a medium bowl, crush Southern Recipe Pork Rinds and mix with Parmesan cheese.
4. Remove cooked hot dogs from the grill and discard toothpicks.
5. While still warm, spread Dijon mustard on each hot dog.
6. Roll each hot dog in the pork rind and Parmesan cheese mixture.
7. Place in hot dog buns and serve immediately.
