
Moonshine Burger

Juicy burger stacked with tangy moonshine BBQ sauce and crispy pork rind topping for a smoky, crunchy flavor explosion.
Ingredients
- Moonshine Burger:
• 2 cups Southern Recipe Hot & Spicy Pork Rinds, crushed
• 1 cup Mayonnaise
• 1 oz Moonshine (or whiskey)
• 2 tsp. Salt, divided
• 1/2 tsp. Ground black pepper
• 1 medium Red onion, chopped
• 2 lbs. fresh ground chuck
• 1 large Tomato, sliced
• 1 large Red onion, sliced
• 6 Sesame seeded burger rolls, split
Preparation
1. Place Hot & Spicy flavored pork rinds in a sealable plastic bag and knead until crushed into crumbs.
2. In a mixing bowl, stir together half of the crushed pork rind crumbs, mayonnaise, moonshine, and 1 teaspoon salt.
3. In a large mixing bowl, combine 1 teaspoon salt, black pepper, chopped onion, and the remaining crushed pork rinds.
4. Add ground chuck to the bowl and mix well.
5. Shape the mixture into six burger patties.
6. Preheat grill.
7. Cook burgers for 3–4 minutes on each side, until internal temperature reaches 165°F.
8. Toast buns on the grill during the last few minutes of cooking.
9. To assemble, spread Hot & Spicy mayo over the cut sides of the rolls.
10. Add burger patties, top with sliced tomatoes and onions, and cover with roll tops.
11. Serve immediately. Makes 6 sandwiches.
