Pork Rind Sausage Balls

When you combine sausage with our Hot and Spicy Pork Rinds, you get an appetizer that’s a low carb winner!

Ingredients

    Low Carb Sausage Balls:

    • 1 cup Southern Recipe Hot & Spicy Pork Rinds, crushed
    • 1 lb. Ground pork sausage
    • 1 cup Cheddar cheese, shredded
    • 3 oz Cream cheese, softened
    • 1 tsp Baking powder
    • 1 Tbsp. Green onions, chopped

Preparation

1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.

2. In a large bowl, combine ground pork sausage, shredded cheddar cheese, softened cream cheese, crushed pork rinds, baking powder, and chopped green onions.

3. Mix thoroughly until all ingredients are evenly incorporated.

4. Roll mixture into 1-inch balls and place them evenly spaced on the prepared baking sheet.

5. Bake for 20–25 minutes, or until the sausage balls are golden brown and cooked through.

6. Let cool slightly before serving.
