

Avocado Pork Rind Fries

Our family-friendly Avocado Fries are so much better than the typical potato fries - especially when you coat 'em with our pork rinds!
Ingredients
- Avocado Pork Rind Fries:
• 1 1/2 cups Southern Recipe Pork Rinds, crushed
• 2 ripe but firm avocados, pits removed
• 2 tsp. garlic powder
• 1 tsp. onion powder
• 1 tsp. paprika
• 1/2 tsp. fine sea salt
• 1/2 tsp. black pepper
• 1/3 cup flour
• 1 large egg, beaten
• 1 Tbsp. water
• 1 tsp. stone ground mustard
Preparation
1. Preheat oven to 425°F and line a baking sheet with foil.
2. Slice avocados in half and remove the pits.
3. Cut each avocado half into three or four slices and set aside.
4. In three small bowls, prepare the coatings:
- Bowl 1: Mix flour with half of the seasonings.
- Bowl 2: Combine egg, water, and mustard.
- Bowl 3: Mix crushed pork rinds with the remaining seasonings.
5. Dip each avocado slice first into the flour mixture.
6. Then dip into the egg mixture.
7. Finally, coat with the pork rind mixture.
8. Place the coated avocado slices on the prepared baking sheet.
9. Bake for 10 minutes, then flip the slices.
10. Bake for an additional 3 minutes, or until golden brown.
11. Remove and serve warm.
