Ingredients

    BBQ Fish Tacos Recipe using Pork Rinds:

    • 1/4 cup Southern Recipe Hot & Spicy Pork Rinds, crushed
    • 1 1/2 lbs Tilapia fillets
    • 1/2 tsp. Paprika
    • 1 tsp. Garlic powder
    • 1 tsp. Dried oregano
    • 1 tsp. Onion powder
    • 12 corn Tortillas

    Ingredients for the Slaw
    • 1/2 Red cabbage, sliced thin
    • 1/4 Green cabbage, sliced thin
    • 1/2 medium Onion, diced
    • 1/2 cup Cilantro
    • Juice of 1 lime

Preparation

1. In a small bowl, combine paprika, garlic powder, dried oregano, onion powder, and crushed Southern Recipe Pork Rinds.

2. Sprinkle the mixture over both sides of the tilapia fillets and gently rub in.

3. In a large bowl, combine all slaw ingredients and mix well.

4. Preheat outdoor grill to medium-high heat.

5. Once heated, place tilapia fillets on the grill.

6. Cook for 4–5 minutes on each side, or until the outside is browned and the fish flakes easily.

7. Remove fish from heat.

8. If desired, warm corn tortillas on the grill for about 30 seconds per side.

9. Break tilapia into 2–3 inch pieces.

10. Distribute the fish between the corn tortillas.

11. Top with slaw and salt to taste.

12. Serve immediately.
