BBQ Hamburgers

Ingredients

    BBQ Hamburgers:

    • 1 cup Southern Recipe Pork Rinds, crushed
    • 1 lb ground beef or hamburger
    • 2 Tbsp. your favorite spicy BBQ sauce
    • 2 tsp. seasoning salt
    • 2 slices Cheddar
    • 2 buns
    • Lettuce, tomato, onion, pickles (optional)

Preparation

1. Heat a cast-iron skillet or flat top griddle to 350°F.

2. Mix crushed pork rinds and BBQ sauce with ground beef.

3. Form the mixture into two large patties.

4. Sprinkle seasoning salt on each side of the patties.

5. Place the patties in the skillet and cook for 2 minutes.

6. Flip the patties and cook for another 1 1/2 minutes.

7. Place cheese slices on the patties and allow to melt as they finish cooking.

8. Toast the buns if desired.

9. Top the buns with more crushed pork rinds and BBQ sauce.

10. Assemble the burgers and serve immediately.
