Bread Pudding

Ingredients

    Bread Pudding:

    • 1/2 cup Southern Recipe Original Pork Rinds, crushed
    • 2 Eggs
    • 1/2 cup Heavy cream
    • 1/2 cup Water
    • 1/4 cup Sugar
    • 1/4 cup Raisins
    • 1 tsp. Vanilla
    • 1 tsp. Cinnamon

Preparation

1. Combine cream, eggs, water, sugar, raisins, vanilla, and cinnamon in a bowl. Mix well.

2. Butter a 1-quart casserole dish.

3. Place lightly crushed pork rinds in the dish.

4. Pour the liquid mixture over the pork rinds.

5. Preheat oven to 350°F. While the oven preheats, let the casserole sit so the pork rinds can absorb some of the liquid.

6. Sprinkle the top with additional cinnamon.

7. Bake for 30–40 minutes, or until lightly browned.

8. Let cool slightly before serving.
