Pecan Pork Rind Cinnamon Rolls

Ingredients

    Pecan Pork Rind Cinnamon Rolls:

    • 3/4 cup Southern Recipe Pork Rinds, finely crushed
    • 5 Eggs
    • 1 1/2 tsp Baking powder
    • 5 Tbsp Sugar substitute
    • 1/4 cup Butter, unsalted
    • 2 tsp Cinnamon
    • 1/4 cup Pecans, chopped
    • 1/2 tsp Vanilla extract
    • 4 Tbsp Heavy cream
    • 1 cup Water

Preparation

1. Preheat oven to 350°F.

2. In a medium-sized bowl, combine pork rinds, eggs, baking powder, and 1 tablespoon of sugar substitute.

3. Add 1/2 cup water (or more as needed) until the mixture resembles pancake batter. Set aside.

4. In a separate bowl, mix melted butter with sugar substitute and cinnamon. Set aside.

5. Pour the pork rind batter onto the center of a baking sheet, spreading it into a rectangle.

6. Bake for 8–10 minutes, or until the mixture sets.

7. Remove from oven and let cool for about 5 minutes.

8. Spread the cinnamon butter mixture evenly over the baked pork rind base.

9. Carefully roll up and cut into even pieces.

10. In a bowl, whisk together remaining sugar substitute and heavy cream.

11. Drizzle over the rolls, sprinkle with pecans, and serve.
