Tomorrow is National Chips and Dip Day and we’re putting a twist on this classic combination by … you guessed it, ditching the chips.
- 1 tbsp. olive oil
- 8 oz. ground beef
- 1 tsp. creole seasoning
- ½ tsp. chili powder
- ½ tsp. cumin
- salt and pepper
- 8 oz. block cheddar cheese
- ½ cup shredded Monterey Jack cheese
- ½ cup canned diced tomatoes
- ¼ cup canned chopped green chiles
- ¼ cup of salsa verde
Heat the olive oil in a sauce pan over medium heat and add in ground beef and seasonings. Cook until browned and drain the excess fat. Add block cheddar cheese into a saucepan, stirring until it melts. Add in Monterey Jack cheese, tomatoes, chilies and salsa. Stir in ground beef and heat for a few minutes.
Once it’s done, serve it up with some Southern Recipe Hot and Spicy pork rinds. Celebrate this day with the ultimate crunch!
