Doesn’t it seem that every month we read about a new health trend?  Don’t get us wrong, we think that healthy eating starts with moderation (even though we also know it’s really hard not to plow through a big bag of Salt & Vinegar Pork Rinds during lunch). Pork rinds do offer some very positive health attributes

  • zero carbs,
  • 9 grams of protein (50 % more protein than peanuts)
  • only 4.5 grams of total fat (half the fat of potato chips)
  • Rinds are also a good alternative snack for those with diabetes
  • only 2 points for Weight Watchers

Whoa, all that “healthy talk” has gotten us hungry for some Hot & Spicy Pork Rinds. But really,  in honor of Men’s Health Month, we suggest cutting out all your empty snacks … and committing to eating pork rinds. Hey, we’re not crazy after all.
