Authentic flavor of Mexican cuisine, featuring chicharrones
Ingredients
- Authentic Pozole with Pork Rinds:
• 1 bag Southern Recipe Pork Rinds
• Tostadas
• Lettuce
• 36 oz. Hominy
• 2 bunches Epazote
• 3 Avocados
• Sliced radishes to taste
• Onion to taste, finely chopped
• Oregano to taste
• Salt arbol chile pepper to taste, ground
• Topped with Radish
Preparation
1. Cover hominy with water and cook for 30 minutes.
2. Remove from heat, cool slightly, and uncover.
3. Add salt and ground chile.
4. Return to heat and cook for an additional 15 minutes.
5. When the hominy begins to open, add Southern Recipe Pork Rinds and epazote.
6. Cook for another 15 minutes.
7. Accompany with chopped lettuce, radishes, onion, oregano, lime, avocado, and tostadas.
