
Hawaiian-Style Low Carb Pizza

You don't have to fly off to the islands for this low carb pizza recipe! We've got the perfect balance of sweet and spicy that will please everyone. What gives the dough that bacony flavor? Pork rinds!
Ingredients
- • 1 cup Southern Recipe Original Pork Rinds, ground
• 8 oz. Cream cheese, softened
• 2 cups Italian cheese, shredded
• 1 Bell pepper, chopped
• 3 cloves Garlic, smashed & minced
• 4 large Eggs
• 1/4 cup Parmesan cheese
• 1/2 Tbsp. Italian spices
• 1/2 Tbsp. Garlic powder
• 1 can (15 oz.) Pineapple juice
• 1 (16 oz.) bottle Barbecue sauce
• 1 Jalapeño, seeds removed & minced
• 1/4 cup Red onion, finely chopped
• 1/4 cup Green onion garnish
• Kosher salt & fresh ground pepper to taste
Preparation
1. Preheat oven to 425°F.
2. In a bowl, mix cream cheese, large Eggs, seasonings, and Italian cheese until well combined.
3. Add ground Southern Recipe Original Pork Rinds and mix thoroughly. The dough will be thick.
4. Plop the dough onto a heavily greased pizza pan or 1 lined with parchment paper.
5. Cover the dough with plastic wrap or wax paper and roll or pat it out to the edges.
6. Bake the crust for 20 minutes. Remove from oven and let stand for 10 minutes.
7. In a medium saucepan, pour in barbecue sauce and half of the reserved pineapple juice (adjust to taste).
8. Stir in red bell pepper, jalapeño, garlic, and red Green onion garnish.
9. Let sauce simmer until thickened.
10. Top the cooked pizza crust with leftover chicken or pork.
11. Sprinkle your choice of Italian cheese on top, then drizzle the sauce mixture over it.
12. Place pizza back in the oven and bake until bubbly.
13. Remove, slice, and serve.
