
Pork Rind Goat Cheese Bites

Creamy goat cheese balls rolled in crunchy pork rind crumbs for a tangy, crispy appetizer perfect for family gatherings.
Ingredients
- • 1 cup Southern Recipe Hot n Spicy Pork Rinds, crushed
• 8 oz. Goat cheese
• 1 Tbsp. Honey
• 1 Tbsp. Italian seasoning
• 1/4 tsp. Salt
• 1 cup Flour
• 2 Eggs, beaten
• 1/4 tsp. Black pepper
• 1 Tbsp. Olive or vegetable oil
Preparation
1. Preheat oven to 425°F.
2. In a large bowl, thoroughly mix the goat cheese, honey, Italian seasoning, and salt & pepper until well combined. Set aside.
3. Find 3 shallow bowls. Place the flour in 1, the crushed Southern Recipe Hot n Spicy Pork Rinds in the second, and the beaten eggs in the third bowl.
4. Form the goat cheese mixture into small balls, roughly 2 tablespoons in size.
5. Dip each ball in the flour, then into the egg, then finally into the Southern Recipe Hot n Spicy Pork Rinds.
6. Place each coated ball on a parchment paper-lined cookie sheet. Slightly press each ball down with your fingers so that each flatten slightly.
7. Brush each with a small amount of Olive or vegetable oil.
8. Bake for 10 minutes or until the coating is golden brown.
